FAQ

Cron Generator FAQ

Does this use my browser's local time zone or UTC?

Your browser's local time zone. Both the "next run times" preview and any time-of-day fields you enter are computed against your device's local clock, not UTC or a server time zone.

Does this tool support cron expressions with seconds?

No. It supports the standard 5-field Unix cron format — minute, hour, day-of-month, month, day-of-week. Six-field "seconds" variants used by some schedulers (like Quartz) aren't supported.

Is my cron expression sent to a server?

No. Parsing, building, and computing next run times all happen in your browser with JavaScript.
