YouTube Keyword Extractor FAQ

How does the YouTube Keyword Extractor pull a video's keywords?

You paste a public video URL and the tool sends the video ID to a TripleW Tools server endpoint, which looks up the video's official metadata and returns the tags associated with it.

Is this tool fully client-side?

No. Fetching a video's tag metadata requires a server-side lookup, so your browser sends the video ID to our server, which retrieves the data and returns it for display, copying, and download.

Why do some videos return no keywords?

Video tags are optional metadata set by the creator. If none were added, or the video is private, unlisted in a restricted way, or otherwise inaccessible, no public tags will be returned.
