FAQ
YouTube Tag Extractor FAQ
How does the YouTube Tag Extractor get a video's tags?
You paste a public video URL and the tool sends the video ID to a TripleW Tools server endpoint, which looks up the video's metadata and returns any tags attached to it.
Does this tool run entirely in my browser?
No. Retrieving a video's tags requires a server-side lookup, so your browser sends the video ID to our server, which fetches the tag data and returns it for display, copying, and download.
Why does a video show no tags?
Tags are optional metadata that creators can choose to add. If a creator did not add tags, or a video is private or restricted, no public tags will be found.
