Can it unminify JavaScript?
Yes. Paste minified JavaScript and Beautify splits it into one statement per line with consistent indentation for blocks, objects and arrays, so it's readable again. Variable names that were shortened during minification can't be restored.
Does it handle regex, template literals and comments safely?
Yes. The formatter tokenizes your code first, so strings, template literals (including nested ${} expressions), regular expressions and comments are kept intact, and operators like ++ and -- are never split.
Can I minify JavaScript here too?
Yes. Minify removes comments and unnecessary whitespace. It doesn't rename variables, so for production builds a full bundler minifier will shrink files further.
Is my code uploaded anywhere?
No. Formatting runs entirely in your browser — your code is never sent to TripleW Tools or any server. Also see the CSS Beautifier, HTML Formatter, and the combined CSS/JS/HTML Minifier.
